What is Smudging?
Smudging is a form of cleansing, an ancient spiritual ritual. Smudging is also a form of purification, dispelling negative energy and improving your mood. Smudging can also be used to eliminate harmful airborne bateria that can make you or your family ill.
Great for families with school age children.
This technique is great for stress, anxiety and many mood disorder, as it causes the person to feel more relaxed.
Smudging is made from natural ingredients gathered from the earth such as sage, cedar, juniper and sweetgrass. Smudging may also consist of many different types of resins or Palo Santo sticks.
The ritual of smudging has been passed down for many generations. Many cultures and religions to this day still use this ritual and follow the protocols for spiritual awakening and enlightenment.
Smudging is a great modality because it allows for a more mindful, balanced and centered atmosphere. This allows for the client to relax and let go of the negative while also letting go of what is unnaturally inhabiting them and keeping them from moving forward.
It promotes calmness and the feeling of be safe.
